Wella for damaged hair: Ultimate Repair and Fusion

Damaged hair is hair whose fibers have lost their natural structure, making it appear dry, with split ends, brittle, and dull. This occurs because the outer layer of the hair weakens or breaks. The most common causes of damaged hair are:

• Excessive heat (straightener, hairdryer, curling iron)
• Frequent dyes and bleaching
• Sun and chlorine (swimming pools)
• Use of harsh products
• Lack of hydration

To recognize damaged hair, pay attention to its rough texture, whether it tangles easily, loses shape and movement, or breaks when combed.

Wella's Ultimate Repair line helps repair hair severely damaged by bleaching, dyeing, straightening irons, or sun exposure. It can be used on all hair types.

Complete routine with Wella Ultimate Repair

Following a complete routine with the Wella Ultimate Repair line guarantees long-term effects to repair and protect damaged hair. The four essential steps are:

Step 1: Cleansing (Ultimate Repair Shampoo)

• Wet your hair with warm water.
• Apply a small amount of shampoo, rub to create lather and massage all over the scalp and lengths with gentle movements.
• Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
• Remove excess water with a soft towel, without rubbing.

Step 2: Conditioning (Ultimate Repair Conditioner or Mask)

• Apply the conditioner (daily use) or the mask (more intensive) to damp, clean hair.
• Distribute evenly from mid-lengths to ends, massage gently, and leave on. Leave the conditioner on for 30 seconds to 3 minutes and the mask on for 5-10 minutes.
• Rinse well with cold water to close the cuticle.

Tip : Wearing a turban enhances absorption.

Step 3: Intensive Treatment (Miracle Hair Rescue Spray)

• Spray 5-15 sprays from mid-lengths to ends without detangling and on towel-dried hair.
• Leave on for exactly 90 seconds (use a timer).
• Detangle with a wide comb from bottom to top.

Step 4: Final protection (Protective Leave-In or Serum)

• Apply 1-4 pumps of the cream serum (1-2 for fine hair, 3-4 for thick/damaged hair).
• Distribute through mid-lengths and ends, comb through to seal.
